Privacy policy

Effective Oct 13, 2026.

This is the privacy policy for Plaza Promo.

Plaza Promo shows deals for new customers at shops in local plazas. Garrell Tech Solutions runs it.

What Plaza Promo keeps

  • A random visitor ID, in a cookie named lb_id. It holds no name or number. It is used only for counting. Scripts on the page cannot read it.
  • Your language, in a cookie named lb_lang.
  • What happens on the site: page views, shares, saves and redemptions. Each one notes the plaza, the shop and where the visit came from.
  • Your mobile number, only if you give it. You can give it to sign in with a one-time code. Plaza Promo texts you deals only if you check a separate box.
  • The deals you save. They stay on your phone.

What Plaza Promo does not do

  • It never sells your info.
  • It runs no third-party analytics or ad scripts.
  • The home page map uses OpenStreetMap data. The site fetches the map itself. Your phone does not contact OpenStreetMap.
  • If you tap “Near me,” your location stays on your phone.

How it is used

  • To count how many customers each shop's deal brings.
  • Shops see counts, never who.
  • To sign you in, and to send the texts you asked for.

Your mobile number

It is used only to sign you in and to send the texts you agreed to.

It is never sold. It is never shared with shops.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Terms of use

Who helps run it

  • Cloudflare hosts the site.
  • Supabase holds the data, in the United States.
  • Twilio sends the texts and sign-in codes.

They use your info only to do this work for Plaza Promo.

How long it is kept

  • The cookies on your phone end after about a year.
  • Counts, with the visitor IDs on them: 2 years. Then they are deleted.
  • A record of each text sent: 2 years.
  • Your number: until you reply STOP or ask to delete it.
  • After STOP, a short record stays for 4 years: the number, when you joined and when you stopped. It shows your choice was kept.

Your choices

  • You never have to give a number. Deals work without one.
  • Reply STOP to any text to stop the texts.
  • Clear this site's cookies in your browser to remove the visitor ID.
  • Email the address below to see or delete your number and its records.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes too.
